Edgewood Dream

The house was very nice, clean and equipped with everything we needed. There were a few concerns. For a home that sleeps 8 people, and we had 7 in our group, but there was only 1 outdoor trashcan provided. It filled up quickly and we were told that any additional trash would need to be taken to the local refuse center. While on vacation, having to transport our own trash is an inconvenience that guests shouldn’t have to worry about. A home that accommodates up to 8 people should have at least 2 outdoor trashcans to handle the amount of waste generated during a weeks stay. The boathouse was not clean when we arrived. Items were scattered around, trash left behind and even an eaten corn on the cob on the floor. The grill was not properly cleaned. It was covered in grease and the grease trays were full and overflowing. Because of the excessive grease buildup, the grill flared up severely when we used it. We had to thoroughly clean before using it again.

This was a perfect getaway for a long weekend with family. We had plenty of room and enjoyed cooking in the well equipped kitchen. Would definitely stay here again.

The house is secluded yet easy access to whatever you want to do. Sitting on the boat dock and watching folks enjoying the Lake was peaceful and enjoyable. Everything was easy from check-in to check-out and communication was fast and friendly.

Property was fantastic! We particularly loved the lake access, with both a sandy entry and a great dock. We had a wonderful time!

We really enjoyed staying. The dock was perfect. We spent so much time there.
